EXPERIENCE

Rich has significant experience serving clients in several industries, including manufacturing, tool and die and construction, for primarily privately held, entrepreneurial companies. In addition to providing audit, review and compilation services for these clients, Rich provides audit services for several not-for-profit organizations. He also provides forensic accounting services in connection with litigation support. While with BDO Seidman, Rich was an instructor in numerous accounting and auditing internal professional development courses.

PERSONAL DATA

Rich was born in Hastings, Michigan and grew up in Lake Odessa, Michigan and Grandville, Michigan. He graduated from Western Michigan University in 1973 with a BBA degree in Accounting. Rich and his wife, Gloria live in Grandville, Michigan with their sons, Nathaniel and Andrew, and their daughter, Stephanie.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Rich was one of the founders, and served as chairman of the Executive Committee, of Leadership Holland.

Rich was one of the founders, and served as chairman of the Executive Committee, of Leadership Holland. Rich’s civic involvement has also included membership in the Holland Chamber of Commerce, Grand Rapids Round Table, Grand Rapids Elks and Holland Rotary.
